WIW; WIWIWW 2 (What I'm Wearing; What I Wish I Was Wearing, Part 2)

This is what I am wearing today. Black skinny jeans (my office is really quite casual), a black and cream striped frilly tee that is similar to the top pictured above. On top, I am wearing a black Miss Shop cardigan I got about 4-5 years ago, and it is still in perfect condition. Cheap stuff can last if you take care of it (not that I have... !) I am wearing black flats with a bow at the front, and I'm using a black flap satchel today - not Proenza Schouler like the one pictured, unfortunately, but it does the job ;)

Today marks three years since my partner and I started dating, so celebrations are in order. Dinner after work, perhaps a movie, and then relaxing at home, and I figured this outfit was casual enough for dinner, but doesn't look too casual for work. And I'm so darn comfy today. However... if I had an incredible closet full of all the clothes I could ever wish for, this is what I would have worn today:

The jeans stayed the same (my man likes jeans). The top is sweet - it's simple and casual, yet elegant. Over that, if I were to get cold, I would chuck on this navy blazer. It is the most divine colour! Yeah, I'm wearing navy with black. I know I'm a rebel. 

The red pumps are for my boyfriend, who would think these were sexy, and of course, the red doubles as my fashion tribute to our lovey dove love. Aww. Although I probably wouldn't have worn these to work.

The bag/clutch is freaking adorable, and the slight dash of red pulls it together with my shoes (I am not a matchy bag/shoe person, but this is acceptable, I think) and the red heart earrings put the finishing touch to the lovey red theme before I go OTT. The blingy bangle seemed quite plain, but added just the right amount of sparkle factor.

I am going out for dinner with a girlfriend tomorrow night, so I'm looking forward to doing a set for that. I get more excited about making a 'What I Wish I Was Wearing' set, than actually dressing up for a night out. Oh dear!
